We are working on keeping you busy this holiday season with all kinds of classes and shopping. The shopping of course is downtown at ARTifacts – the workshops are all coming together, here are a few you have to look forward too!
BURLAP WREATH & BANNER
Kendall will teach you how to make a burlap wreath and Paige will teach you how to make an Autumn banner--using, of course, burlap!
This event will take place Nov 10th at 6:00 P.M. With a cost of only $45 for both projects--you'll go home with great decor for your door and hearth.
Kimberly Santiago, our resident Mixed Media Artist, is getting together a few classes.
“PARTRIDGE IN A PEAR TREE” & “TWO TURTLE DOVES” MIXED MEDIA
The Partridge in a Pear Tree mixed media class will be November 17th at 10:30 am. This class is only $25.
Two Turtle Doves (picture coming soon) will be offered twice. Nov. 30th at 10:30am, or Dec. 6th at 6:30.
Then as a final trick up Kimberly’s sleeve would be a Holiday Mixed Media Art workshop. Pencil that in for Dec 12th at 6:30pm.
CAROMAL COLOURS WORKSHOPS
Want to duplicate a look you saw in a magazine? You know – the painted kitchen cabinets—the aged and distressed furniture- those lovely painted picture frames. You can do it yourself and the finishes are amazing! Caromal Colours and Caromal Colours Reclaim offer 18 inspiring colors and 100’s of color combinations for painting cabinetry and furniture with no priming or sanding required.
Wear your painting clothes and come prepared to jump right into the fun. Bring a picture frame or framed mirror from home to use as your paint project. Because of space issues try to keep your project piece smaller than 16 by 20. I will also have other unpainted and pre-painted projects for us to play with. I will furnish all paints and products needed for our projects. We will be using electric sanders.
Sunday, November 13, 1PM. $50.00 per workshop.
